N. Syed Rabia

Ms.Rabia, aged 24 years, is a mother of two children. She has studied upto 10th class. Her father is a painter and mother is a tailor. She is a resident of Perungudi, Chennai. Rabia got married at the age of 16 years and her husband developed bad habits like consuming marijuana, alcohol and smoking cigarettes due to peer influence. Within two years of their marriage her husband remarried. She is a divorcee and is staying at her parents’ house with her two children. She was a very reluctant person and her self-confidence was very low. She was also emotionally disturbed.

Rabia’s parents came to know about the Youth Development Programme and enroll her in the training. She is getting training in IT enabled services, customer care and job readiness. Rabia is now becoming a more confident and emotionally strong person. She was sent for interviews in different companies and she got job in Kavin Company as an Associate with salary of Rs. 8.500 per month.
